Rodney and his crew are extremely professional and their tree cutting service was exceptional. It started with one large tree that fell during a storm to clearing the whole backyard. Their work was super fast and most importantly at a great price point. The team went above and beyond removing the trees. The next day they came back and removed the trunks leaving our property better than before. Amazing, hard working and honest. I have used Mr Rodney for firewood delivery. He listened to where I wanted the drop and was surgical with his truck for my delivery. Wood was all hardwood, cured, but not overly dry. I highly recommend!!!!!!

Having Empire Tree take care of removing my storm damaged trees was the best choice I could have ever made. The service was prompt even with lots of storm damage all over the county and fairly priced. They provided a written estimate shortly after we spoke (no waiting around a day or two) and then did the specified work quickly the day they came. I'll be using them the next time I need tree work done. You should too.

I called Rodney about a fallen tree and two potential other trees that needed to come down late on July 3rd and he was out surveying the damage within the hour. Rodney and his crew from Empire Tree LLC did a superb job pruning a cherry tree and removing a gnarly mulberry tree in our backyard in Garrett Park, MD. We are delighted with the results. The pruning work was expertly done and the cherry tree is more beautiful than ever. Removing the mulberry tree was especially challenging since the tree was inaccessible to any heavy equipment, and Rodney had to avoid damaging the house and plantings that surrounded the tree. Empire's careful work and fastidious cleanup left no trace at all, except for the absence of the tree. Rodney was polite, communicative and responsive. He did exactly the work we agreed to. His price was quite reasonable, too. We will recommend Empire Tree to our neighbors, and won't hesitate to call Rodney for our future tree work.

Empire Tree has really came through and met a really important deadline. I initially hired a company called affordable excavating to clear 4 acres to build my house and they gave me a timeline of three weeks to complete the job. Well sorry to tell you 2 months went by and the job was still incomplete and there was a big mess so I called Empire Tree and they got right on it. It took them three weeks to clear up all the mess so we could get the foundation complete and we are greatful we hired Empire Tree.

I had about 20 tress and 25 stumps removed from my yard in La Plata. Very reasonable price for the work that was completed. They were outstanding! Very professional. I was expecting to see some tree stumps left over, but completely got rid of them. Didn’t take much time to complete such a large job. Done an amazing job of tidying up once they were done. I would definitely recommend and use the service again.

Heavy snow in January severely damaged half of the 40 foot tall Leland cypress tress on each side of our back yard. Some were laid flat, some broken off half way up, some leaning onto others. We had no choice but to have all 25 removed. Some were over a foot in diameter at the ground. Rodney and crew had the right equipment and knowledge to do the job quickly and well. We were amazed to watch his chipper do an entire tree without having to cut it in pieces. Most of the work was completed in one day, they worked until after dark. Cleanup and stump grinding was completed in another half day. They cleaned up nicely with rakes and leaf blowers. They were great to work with.

I had a massive oak tree that fell on the house during the storm and I called Empire Tree because they have 150 five star ratings on Google and they came out to look and completed the job. We had a bad storm and lightning struck a big part of one our trees down. I called Empire Tree on a Sunday and they were here within a couple hours to give me an estimate on removing it. We agreed and they were back a short time later on the same day to do the actual removal. They worked fast and professionally! We are seriously impressed by them! Due to hanging and falling branches, I was in serious need of tree trimming. I reached out to a few companies and decided to go with Empire Tree. Unlike the other companies, Empire Tree responded very promptly. Mr. Anthony Watson was very knowledgeable and informative about the process. The tree trimming was scheduled in a timely manner. On the day of the service they arrived on time, very professional. The owner Rodney made sure to cut all of the branches that I needed and wanted cut. Good evening. Empire Tree beautifully pruned the tree in my front yard, and removed two dead trees on the side of my house. They did an excellent job. The cost was reasonable for services rendered. Empire Tree offers payment plans, and Military discounts which is always a plus. The job was done in a timely manner. Safety measures were in place to protect life and property. I received pictures of their work throughout the job. Empire tree made sure to leave my property free of wood chippings and branches. I am giving them five stars because of the quality of their work, great communication, and ease of use. Thank you.

Rodney always brings the right size team, and helps decide if trees can be saved or not. He doesn't want to just cut all trees down. He let me help split and stack 3 cords of oak, that's is a serious 5 log splitter he has. I felt pride to help keep my property looking better with the help of his heavy machines that I likely won't ever own. But it's nice to see how the bucket, the splitter, the chipper and stump grinder work up close. The pool is warmer now with less shade, and the chipper helped out a lot in getting rid of the smaller trees damaged in a storm. As long as we have a property with trees in southern MD we will call Rodney first.

It's that time again. Yard work! This company came referred by a long-term work colleague and friend . How many times we are seeking to manicure our lawns , prune our trees, remove trees, branches and limbs that are weak, along with cutting down trees that are unhealthy due to the environment or a disease. This service company does it all. They service our. entire DC metropolitan area, besides my local Southern Maryland areas; Charles county, Calvert county, and St. Mary's county, Prince George's county. They are located close to La Plata, Maryland too. I was very pleased with the outcome of the five trees that I had pruned. They cleaned up very well after conducting my requested service. I Highly recommend this tree service that is family owned! Again, when you're looking for your yard to look its best contact this company!!!

Rodney and his team at Empire Tree handled a tree removal service at my home in Hughesville. The monster among these trees was a 4-trunk tulip poplar that towered over the house. They tackled that tree and safely dropped each one exactly where we discussed avoiding damage to my yard. They were all prompt, courteous and professional. Rodney was very communicative and truly aims to please his customers. They removed eight trees in total, cleaned up after and worked until the job was done to my satisfaction. I had two trees removed on the same day. The crew arrived as scheduled and worked very quickly. One of the trees (magnolia) had leaves that had already fallen to the ground. The crew shoveled the excess leaves as they were cleaning up their own work without any issues. The grinder came a little later that day and took care of both stumps without any part of the trees left over. They did an excellent job for a great rate. I was very happy with the work and would use them again in the future. Rodney even gave me some helpful advice on what to do with my unkept flower bed to make it look more appealing - not what I expected, and gave me some great ideas. I highly recommend Empire Tree!

Was great working with Empire Tree LLC. During the summer I requested a quote to remove at least four trees, trim additional trees and limbs growing over fence from forest area, and grind two stumps. I also had one small wooden shed that they were able to demolish and remove. Was provided a reasonable quote to present to the HOA for approval. Once approved they came out in one day to take care of things. In order to bring in their equipment, they had to remove a section of my wooden fence for access to the trees. Once the job was done they put the fence back together with ease. Watching them remove the trees without causing any damage to the fence or property was awesome! Will call them again if we ever need.

A tornado came through my in-laws neighborhood and Empire Tree stopped when he saw trees down in there yard... One of the trees was through their shed and another had fallen causing the roots to raise up the other shed. Not only did they expertly remove the trees and advise us on how to deal with the remaining trees that could have been hazardous, but they did so in a manner that the remaining shed returned to its original state and did so unscathed. Their professionalism is unmatched and they also had the best price out of the 3 estimates we got, not to mention they made us a priority because the trees were causing a hazard. I met Rodney at Wawa over a year and a half ago. He was very polite and after talking to him for a few minutes I noticed how passionate he was about trees. I was new to the area and told him I was looking to have some trees removed on my property. By the end of our conversation I asked him if he could stop over to give me a quote on tree removal. He was prompt and came over the next day for an estimate. I told him I'd like to have 10+ trees completely removed and stump grinding as well. Once he gave me the estimate I knew it was going to be a lot of work but he did give me a fair estimate for the work. He offered to do the work in phases based on what was a priority for us. Shortly after Rodney gave me the estimate, my husband and I found out that I was expecting. Unfortunately I had to let Rodney know that our priorities shifted and we would call him once the baby came and things settled down. But I never had to call Rodney, because he called me! He called me (1yr later) to see how things were going and if we still needed the trees removed. I told him yes, but we wouldn't be able to do everything at once. I told him what we felt comfortable with spending and he came a few days later. During this phase he dropped a 90' Oak Tree and pruned 2 other big trees. He had all of his safety gear on and worked very efficiently! My husband and I literally watched in amazement as the tree limbs dropped. To our surprise, all of the tree limbs were individually brought down with ropes and not one of them damaged our property. Rodney thank you for checking in and calling us. My husband and I appreciate you for following through with your commitments. If you are looking for someone to do the job right (The first time) for a fair price, Empire Tree is the company to go to. We will definitely call Empire back for phase two!

Several words to describe our experience with this company: Excellent, responsive, professional, and easy. When we called to request a quote, Rodney was not only very responsive but competitively priced. He had our removal scheduled within a week and was very communicative when it came to what would happen if there were any rain delay or if the crew was needing to pick up extra equipment. We had several very large hard wood trees and the team came in like old pros and made quick work of something that seemed impossible. We were hit hard by the Tuesday 7/12/22 storm causing damage to our home and leaving us trapped. 7 trees had fallen across our driveway and two others into our house. After calling a couple of tree companies on Wednesday and being told it would be days before they could get us or not being contacted back, I became very frustrated. On Thursday my wife ended up in the hospital with pneumonia and the house became low priority. My next call was on Saturday, to Rodney with Empire after a coworker mentioned his company. Rodney was at our house an hour later and offered an estimate and a plan. Through the course of the next couple of days Empire did a phenomenal job getting our driveway and house cleared, house tarp’d and secured, and worked with me to come up with a plan to address some issues that could create future problems. Rodney and his team were professional from start to finish and I couldn’t be more thankful for the professional nature they addressed our situation. He offered solutions and made us a priority even though he had other work waiting. I firmly give Rodney and Empire 6 Stars on a 5 Star scale.

We had a total of 7 extremely large trees that needed to be cut down and the job was completed within 2 days. Pricing was reasonable and fair. Rodney & the crew of Empire tree did a phenomenal job. We had a complicated tree removal need in Lexington Park, MD. A mature tulip poplar in our yard was hit by lightning a few years ago and was dying and a hazard. I had a massive dead oak that needed to come down. The tree was in a challenging spot, entwined in huge grape vines with buildings behind it on the neighboring fence line, there were also trees to the left and right .I knew I would need to choose someone that could handle such a dangerous job with perfect precision. I called several tree services for estimates. I had a one company come out and look at it and never call back with the estimate. I had one No-Show and another company that wanted to charge a arm and leg just to top it out. When Rodney with Empire came out I was not only impressed by his professionalism but I was also releaved. He answered all my questions explained everything he would be doing and did i mention the huge hole in the base of the tree, Rodney found it during his inspection. Now it"s not only dangerous but Urgent as well. He gave me an on the spot estimate. His price was absolutely UNBEATABLE and he scheduled me right away. I knew immediately I was in good hands. Fast forward to today Saturday June 19rh 2021 I videotaped Rodney dropping this tree diown in 10min.22sec. Beauriful job !! I am so pleased with his work I hope everyone gets to see the video. it was Awesome!! . The level of services he provided was above and beyond.
